Which Car Manufacturer Should You Opt For?

Nissan-Altima

Stuck for who to give your hard-earned money to when it comes to buying a new car? We know the feeling. There are so many factors to look into when considering what car to buy. Many of us just skate over the idea of the manufacturer and stick to what we know or have used before. That shouldn’t be the case. Different car makers pose different drawbacks and different advantages. We check out four of the best in the business to help you decide. Check it out!

Nissan

Nissan is a highly-respected Japanese car manufacturer that should be angling for your business. Japanese vehicles, particularly those from Nissan, are known to be incredibly reliable. They are, therefore, safe. For example, the Nissan Qashqai has a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP, making it one of the safest cars available to buy across the continent. If safety is a big factor for you, then Nissan could be the way to go. They also do a range of models all the way from the Micra to the Juke, so there’s plenty of choice for everybody.

Volkswagen

The German’s recently came under a great deal of media pressure for the emissions scandal that they were caught up in. While this has somewhat devalued their stocks and share prices. It doesn’t make a Volkswagen vehicle any worse for the consumer as such. They should still be highly-regarded as they always were, despite this mishap. Are you environmentally conscious? If so, then you will be happy to know, that after all the controversy, VW is now going that extra mile to ensure that their cars are as green as they say they are. If you’re green fingered, and what to do your bit for the planet, then maybe get a Volkswagen (just not an older model)!

Mercedes-Benz

Finally, if you’ve got the cash to splash, then there is one untarnished German manufacturer who is worth your investment. Mercedes-Benz! Their different class range of vehicles means that there is something out there for every buyer. They are known for their aesthetic appeal and gorgeous designs. As a result, Mercedes manufacture some of the world’s greatest and most expensive vehicles. They are known for being reliable, too. So it won’t be all that often that you need a Mercedes Benz service, which is one less thing to worry about. They’re pricey, but again, like we’ve said, you can’t top a Mercedes for class. All of their vehicles are very elegant and specced out to the max.

Fiat

Finally, consider a Fiat if you’re in the market for a great value family car. The Punto is a staple of the family car line-up and is one not to be taken lightly. These nippy little vehicles are a great advert for some of the other models that Fiat manufacture. Both the Panda and the 500 are excellent city cars, great for driving within congested areas or during peak traffic. Unfortunately, Fiat’s can often be known for their electrical faults. So, if you’re not much of an electrician, you could rack up a few bills getting these resolved at your local garage. That said, for the price you pay for a brand new Fiat, they are still a great buy – no matter of the model.

Hopefully, this post has proved helpful in your decision on which manufacturer to opt for when buying a new car. All of them have their advantages, and this list is, of course, by no means exhaustive. So, get down to a dealership and explore what else is out there!
